Peter Sachon (Cello) An American cellist, Peter Sachon has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. His diverse career has led him to perform with orchestras (Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Virginia Symphony), bands (Pink Martini and Dee Snider), and for some of the worlds leading performers (Audra McDonald, Deborah Voight, Victoria Clark). As part his ongoing concert series The Cello Project, Mr. Sachon has commissioned and premiered many new works for the cello by such composers as Stephen Schwartz, Michael John LaChiusa, Stephen Flaherty, Ricky Ian Gordon, and Tom Kitt.
