Michael Aarons (Guitars/Sitar/Banjo/Mandolin) Originally from Washington D.C, Michael started playing piano at age 4. After his mother introduced him to the Beatles, he switched to guitar and never looked back. Michael attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Since moving to New York in 1994, where he got his BM in Jazz/Commercial Music at the Manhattan School of Music, Michael’s credits include Ray Charles, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross, Michael McDonald, Anastacia, Mya, Michael Buble, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Gaynor, Petula Clark, and more. Michael joined the Liza Minnelli band for her comeback tour in 2002 which kicked off a week at the Royal Albert Hall including stops at New York’s Beacon Theater, Town Hall and Madison Square Garden, where he also played for the WKTU Miracle on 34th Street concert backing up more then 60 artists. Michael's Broadway credits include The Lion King, Spamalot, Wicked, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and 2004’s Laugh Whore, where he held the chair as well as in the Off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz.
